I am Danai Aristeridou!

I'm a strategic AI Product Owner with a background in data science and product management. I'm based in Thessaloniki, Greece.

I love working at the intersection of tech and business, helping teams turn complex ideas into real, impactful products.

I’m highly experienced in translating between technical teams and business goals, and I truly enjoy guiding projects from early ideas all the way to launch.

I'm especially passionate about creating great user experiences and using design thinking and data to solve real-world problems.

Currently, I’m working as an AI Product Owner at Kaizen Gaming, leading the product vision for AI-driven CRM tools.

Key achievements/responsibilities:

  • Led AI-driven CRM/Risk/Payments product visions and roadmaps focused on customer retention and engagement.
  • Orchestrated the revamp of the withdrawal system to minimize downtimes and improve the customer experience.
  • Delivered E2E churn marketing plans, boosting retention by at least 1.7%.
  • Revamped the real-time rewarding mechanism and reduced time to next real money activity by 77%.
  • Delivered bonus abuse detection mechanisms reducing PnL cost per fraudster by over 53%.
  • Led operational efficiency initiatives improving team time usage by over 80%.
  • Collaborated with engineering, data science, and operational teams. Fostered strong stakeholder relationships. Guided and mentored product analysts.
  • Drove A/B testing experiments and opportunity assessments.
  • Established KPIs and reporting frameworks and led design thinking workshops.

Previously, I worked at Pfizer’s CDI, first as a Data Science Sr. Associate and later as a Data Science Manager, where I:

  • Promoted 2 times (Associate -> Sr. Associate -> Manager)
  • Transitioned into AI-focused product management responsibilities.
  • Collaborated with clinical directors by translating complex data into product insights.
  • Managed and mentored an AI team.
  • Led the end-to-end development of the Patient Journey Analytics Suite, from product discovery to launch, driving strong scientific outcomes in patient adherence.
  • Designed and implemented products to identify high-risk Atrial Fibrillation patients early, facilitating proactive interventions via national healthcare system integration.

Common mistakes in product discovery sessions

What I enjoy most about the role of a Product Owner is product discovery. Many of these sessions have ended in failure πŸ˜“—but looking back, I now see those failures as invaluable. Connecting the dots helped me realize that each misstep carried a lesson. Out of these experiences, I’d like to share the most common mistakes I made (and I believe many newbies do too).
